Images Temporarily Disabled in Reader Due To Heavy Traffic

I wasn't prepared for the massive amount of traffic influx that suddenly hit FeedJournal Reader yesterday. I know that some of you ran into errors due to the heavy load, and I apologize for that. As a temporary measure I disabled image support in FeedJournal Reader. But don't worry, images will return soon! I am working hard to find a new and better scalable solution.

    You were featured on Lifehacker recently. That probably contributed to the recent influx of traffic. I am here b/c of that post and have to say that I love the concept and look forward to using this service.

    I found a solution to the problem that scales much better. Give me a couple of days to implement and test it and we should soon have images available again!

    Maybe you should find a better webhost? Something with a good bandwidth and enough CPU to take all the traffic? Try Rudolf from THC (company I am working for) as an affordable alternative :) though I guess soon you'll be pretty rich - great job, Jonas!

    Mig: Thanks. I checked up your hosting offer but I don't see THC offer ASP.NET or SQL Server. I am looking for something to replace my current hosting provider though.

One of the basic premises behind FeedJournal is that it's better to read text on paper than on a screen. While it might not sound like a bold assumption, it still is an assumption and as such worth to examine deeper. Suspended by eBay

eBay suspended my account after being a member for less than a week. I never bought or sold anything, just browsed their listings. eBay refuses to give an explanation for suspending me, but claim that they "can understand [my] frustration". On Sep 30 I created a user account in order to buy a docking station for my laptop - an item which costs around $10 on eBay. I contacted about five sellers about shipping costs to Israel. Then I get the suspension e-mail from eBay. At first, I was convinced the e-mail was a phishing attempt and marked it as spam, but when I logged on to my eBay account it was obvious that they had really suspended me.
